Aktivität 149 Regeln in der Bibliothek
Introduce the unit by asking personalized questions: “Warum gehen Sie in die Bibliothek, was machen Sie da? Wie oft…? Wie viel Zeit lernen Sie wirklich? Haben Sie schon einmal ein Buch ausgeliehen?”
Aktivität 150 Hohe Bestände
This is based on the principle that warehousing things is waste, i.e. too many books of a kind take up space, need heating/cooling etc. Too few items of a kind on the other hand would lead to waiting times which are also a waste.

Follow up with a discussion about how students feel about these changes. You might in fact form debate teams that defend “the good old times” or praise the efficiency gained by now.
Aktivität 152 Die Bibliothek der Zukunft
Add a brainstorming session about what is lost and gained. “Was macht man mit den alten Büchern? Was muß das neue Personal lernen? Was sind die Risiken?” (e.g. of cloud based data etc.)
