Aktivität 55: Das Wetter in Deutschland
After reading each item, you might already ask e.g. “Wo ist es neblig?” so students connect the image with the words.
Aktivität 56: Das Wetter in den USA
Ask additional questions such as: “Wo ist es oft neblig? Wo regnet es oft/wenig? Wo finden Sie das Wetter am besten? ”
Aktivität 57: Das Wetter in Österreich und der Schweiz
Follow up with additional questions like “Wo ist das Wetter in den USA wie in …? Wo finden Sie das Wetter gut/schlecht? Ist es anders als in der Stadt, wo Sie wohnen/studieren? ” Assign (maybe for extra credit) that students investigate “Biowetter”on the internet sites such as Frankfurter Rundschau with questions such as: What are Germans concerned about? Do you think there is such a correlation between the weather and how you feel? (Can be done in English)
Aktivität 58: Das Wetter in meiner Stadt
As students report on their results, make sure to ask questions back to everyone else: “Woher kommt….? Wie ist das Wetter da? Finden Sie das gut?” You can also do it as a memory exercise, have several students report and then go around the room: “Woher kommt…? Wie ist das Wetter in…?”
